Pros and cons of CloudlightFPV app for iPhone and iPad
CloudlightFPV app good for
The bad thing is, that i cannot read the complete OSD data with my setup ( iPhone 6 & Zeiss VrOne).
Either the top or bottom line is not visible and i have to move my VrOne.
Maybe it would be a good idea, to add an option for adjusting the picture.
Apart from this, i like the app very much for FPV with my Inspire 1. Awesome quality, easy to use, really nice!
a corner of the GPS map display direction information, though useful would be much better; important because
I have been in touch with the app developer to get the app working correctly. He has responded within 30 minutes to every email Ive sent. The app has a sleek design and is an amazing concept!!
Ive not used any VR applications before, but bought a cheap headset to try with this app. As a new Phantom 3 owner, Im still a little timid at the controls. I thought that looking only through the drones camera would make it easier to avoid confusing right and left directions when the drone is moving my way.
The app works very well! Im much more confident flying, especially in tight areas.
I wish the app had direct access to photos and videos the way DJIs app does, and I really miss not having my flights logged as DJIs app always does.
Ive had minor problems connecting to the drone after shutting off my phone or the remote, but exiting the app fully and restarting solves that problem.
Im using a iPhone 6 Plus, and have no problems with the app, as other reviews have indicated.
Some bad moments
Head tracking doesnt work properly (very big disappointment) on my Phantom Adv. Req minor display customization as data readout is too high up on and too low on display for personalization. I cannot understand why head tracking is so bad when other competitive software have nailed it.
Please fix.
The app works, however, the latency goes from bad to horrible. The longer you use the app, the further behind the image becomes. This app does not provide anything near realtime head tracking. The video quality is great, just need to get the latency out. After just 2 minutes of use, video was almost 15 seconds behind.
What a waste of money!!! The app crashes after two minuets!!!
Everything works, except it only works for 2 minutes. The fact that this app could make me loose my drone because of bad coding deserves an update.
I have a dji phantom 3 4K, I finally connect it, and their is no visual from the camera. Worst $15.00 I have ever spent!!! DO NOT GET THIS APP!!
I will change this rating when I get support on the poor image quality I am getting from my Dji P3 drone w/headset (Zeiss vr1) using iPhone 6s. There is no good support or troubleshooting for this app. Expensive app but no help.
